When comparing to the other options, I would still prefer Look Around, mainly because of the UI and UX, but Street View is also very good. The only downpoint for Look Around is, that you need to know, where it’s available, or you find it by accident. It is too complicated to access Street View in the app. → When comparing Apple Maps app and Google Maps app, Apple wins. Then you get blue lines or dots for every point in Street View, that you can tap, to see the location. There is always a button, that activates Street View mode (in the Street View app it’s always displayed). That’s much easier in the Street View app, the Google Earth app or the browser. You often need multiple tries to get the Street View option. To use Street View in the Google Maps app, you need to zoom to a point, long press to mark the location, and then, if available, you get the option to open Street View. You can already zoom and rotate in the preview and maximise it with a tap on the arrows in the leading left corner. The location can be moved freely, but it automatically snaps to the streets with a haptic feedback. The Look Around streets are marked with a blue overlay, and the location with a binocular. On the top of the screen is a preview, that shows the image. Just zoom in to a region, where Look Around is available, tap on the binocular symbol, choose a street and maximise the window.
